Exhibition and sale of Galician honey products and apiculture products such as royal jelly and wax. Galician honey is a product that is protected through geographic branding.It is promoted by the Pontevedra Apiculture Association and has been going on for the past 20 years. It includes an exhibition and sale of honey and professional and disseminating conferences on the world of apiculture and honey.

Apple has a great gastronomic importance, even beyond its fresh consumption. It is present in starters, salads, fish dishes, all types of meat dishes, in desserts, compotes, cider prepared artisanally, etc. It would be strange to find a rural Redondela house that does not have at least one apple tree.The apple veneration is held via a demonstration of its wide gastronomic repertoire, where the parish of Negros and the entire Redondela municipality have cultivated a huge variety of apples.

It started in the 1980s when there was a forestry revaluation process underway at the parish, involving repopulation forest land with cherry trees. This festival brings together cherry vendors both local and from other regions of Spain and Portugal. Its popularity has grown side by side with increased cherry sales, which have now surpassed eight tonnes during the sale period.Organised by the Resident's Association and the Cultural & Recreational Centre of Beade. It was first held in 1986. Sale of cherries, gastronomic competitions and cultural events make up the festival program of activities.

The feast is held in the park next to St. Joseph's chapel. The protagonists are kids reared and sacrificed by the residents from the area. They then cut them open into two halves and roast them on an open fire. The helpings are served with roasted potatoes.A feast with a procession to a local shrine where kid grilled in Argentinean style is extolled, i.e., split into two longitudinal halves (al espeto).

There are two identifying emblems in Redondela, namely, the viaducts and the chocos. The town of choco --where even its football team is named choco-- is so called because it was one of the most frequent cuttlefish products that was landed at its jetties by inshore fishermen. Popular folklore states that the sepia or cuttlefish go upstream of the rivers to lay their eggs on fallen twigs in brackish waters of the river Alvedosa. The Redondela chocos are still famous today and deservedly so. The choco festival is accompanied by many cultural and recreational activities.The gastronomic excellence of the choco (cuttlefish/ sepia) is celebrated on its special day celebrated on the second Sunday in May, although there is no fixed date. Most of the catering establishments in this town offer dishes where choco is the prime ingredient. There is also a gastronomic competition where the best recipes for creativity and traditional cooking: cooked in ink, as a pie and served with rice, are awarded prizes.

The fritters festival is to bring together the residents of Pazos and those from surrounding towns and make them participate in a fritter competition where importance is given to presentation, originality and taste besides serving as an opportunity to sample the gastronomic products of the area.Gastronomic feast that pays homage to fritters, a traditional Galician sweet sometimes made with pumpkin and at other times with rice and bread crumbs that are dipped in egg and then fried.

Mussels are present not only in gastronomy but also in the landscape of the Galician Bays. Chapela has a port where mussels have been traditionally harvested from rope cultures and are landed either for fresh consumption or for depurating and use in the processing industry.The protagonists at this feast are mussels, which are cooked into many recipes. From the simplest cooking, namely, steamed to elaborate recipes such as in pie, fried, in sauce, in salads in timbale…

The feast of the corn flour pie was born in 1995. It has since then consolidated its activity as one of the best opportunities to compete or simply taste a Galician speciality, namely pie made with corn flour - called ""millo"" en Galician.Tasting of the several types of pies made with corn flour. This competition is open to all who want to participate.

More than 5000 helpings of stewed pork elbows were served during the past festivals. This is served cooked with rice, peas, pepper, onion and garlic. The feast is organised by the Santa Eulalia de Mos Sports

This feast is held under a marquee in the parish of Chaín, beside the cultural centre, where thousands of helpings of grilled horse mackerel are dished out accompanied with corn bread. There is no shortage of pies either, made from corn and wheat flour with horse mackerel filling.Feast to honour grilled horse mackerel. This is organised by the Chaín Cultural Centre.

This festivity extols pork delicacies through preparation of a range of culinary dishes. From grilled to skewed pork, with the pig cut in two along the spine and cooked slowly on oak embers, roasted ham, boiled ears, sausages cooked in wine, stewed pork elbows, etc.In honour of pork gastronomy organised by the Novos Aires de Couso bagpiper's association.

The feast was started in 1987 and gives prominence to the best gastronomic product of Soutomaior, namely, the oyster. The fame of the oysters from these sand banks at Arcade is due to its excellent quality viands. After the end of the 20th century, when the autochthonous oyster was practically extinct, aquaculture production was initiated on oyster rafts where the species ostrea edulis is cultivated. This change did not alter the gastronomic value because the rich plankton of Vigo Bay is what feeds the oysters and can boast as the most demanded by the markets and dinner tables of Europe.Declared as an event of Tourist Interest. The actual gastronomic feast is preceded by a week of cultural and sports activities. These are organised by the town council and almost all restaurants from Arcade participate.

Pexego, literally means peach, which is a fruit of Asian origin, which was first taken to the Middle East before its introduction into Europe. Its name in Galician and in Portuguese comes from the scientific name of the tree: prunus persicum. However, what the residents of the area revere is the non-grafted peach tree, namely the wild breed, which is actually called ""pexego"". The varieties of peaches and their qualities, are highlighted in this festival, which is held when the fruit is at its best.Popular festival that combines reverence to this fruit with playful activities, music and popular dances.

Tripe cooked in Galician style, i.e., accompanied by chick peas, sausages, potatoes and other ingredients are protagonists of this event, where more than 1500 helpings are served to the public. The bread from Porriño, is an indispensable element to accompany a helping of callos, together with a glass of red wine.The Fiesta de los callos (tripe festival) is part of the activities linked with the Fiestas del Cristo (Christ Festival).

The Zorza Festival is held on the third Sunday in November. More than 1500 helpings of fried or pie based zorza are dished out. This is served with red wine and good bread from Porriño.An exaltation and zorza tasting feast. Zorza is a culinary speciality made with marinated pork, which can be served as a pie dish or fried.
