A set of hydraulic watermills to grind grain. They are along the itinerary of the GR-58 or the Greas route.Traditional constructions that were built to grind grain to make flour, especially to grind corn, wheat and rye. It is located along the Greas route.

Localization: Reboreda parish, on the banks of the river Alvedosa. Two km from the urban centre on the road from Redondela to Pazos de Borbén.
Fluvial courses have been used by man since ancient times, either to grind grain or to transform such hydraulic energy into useful energy for daily manufacturing purposes in fulling machines and in forges. In the case of the Reboreda watermills, the energy was used to grind grain to obtain flour.A set of watermills that make use of water energy from the river Alvedosa to move its wheels. There are many such mills restored today and two such are now used as eating houses.

Localization: Zamáns parish, near the reservoir with the same name.
""Maquía"" is the part of the batch that corresponds to the miller, towards payment for his services. The name of this watermill is due to the fact that the miller's residence is on the same premises, and therefore the owners of the grain had to pay for the service in kind.A traditional watermill with the miller's house, which confers a greater importance to such a type of traditional building. The surroundings have a rich environmental value and form part of the Vigo Panoramic Route GR-53.

Localization: In the river Barragán, parish of Moscoso
In the municipality of Pazos de Borbén there are about sixty watermills catalogued on the courses of the rivers Barragán, Borbén and others that flow through this territory.A watermill to produce flour where hydraulic energy from the river flow was commonly used in the past to grind grains. There is a little stone bridge next to it.

Council: Fornelos de Montes
Localization: Parish of Fornelos de Montes, along the banks of the rivers Parada and the Oitavén.
The ethnographic heritage of Fornelos de Montes is quite rich, especially in hydraulic works. We can still see 18 watermills of which nine are in the parish of Fornelos.A total of nine watermills are distributed along the banks of the two mentioned rivers.

The force of water was widely used in the seven parishes of Porriño, to grind grain and carry out other activities. These instruments nowadays are a reminder of our architectural and ethnographic heritage. More than 40 watermills have already been restored and are worth seeing.The connecting link of the routes is via little rivers and streams where we can find restored watermills.
